Now, if you can, it is worth crossing the border to go to the Seattle Premium Outlet stores on the way to Seattle. It takes about two hours to drive there, not counting the time at the border, which is always a surprise. Prices in the United States are always cheaper normally. I bought an awesome pair of shoes for fifty dollars at Wal-mart!

If you are looking for museums and galleries, then this hint is for you! On the UBC campus, there are several museums you can access for free! And in Vancouver, there are museums with big discounts on specific days of the week!

Homesick? Don’t bring your Nextel. The best way to save your money is using Skype. You can use the wireless around the campus of UBC. Are you a slave to the Internet? Don’t worry, you can check your e-mails in the OUTBACK; it is everywhere! And the best is that everything is free!

If you are crazy for games, buying original games second hand is a good deal! I forgot to say, here in Vancouver the PlayStation 3 is sold for $250 (500 Reais in the Brazil), and the same console is sold for $600 (1200 Reais). That’s an amazing deal! I love this place!
