Your Cultural Assistants!

The abbreviation “CA” stands for Cultural Assistant. Our CAs are UBC undergraduate students whose mission is to help UBC ELI students make the most out of their studies in Vancouver.

When you visit a new place, it can sometimes be difficult to get to where you want to go, figure out what to do on the weekend, or know how to solve a problem. It can be strange when Canadians do things differently here than at home! The CAs can help you with all of these questions and more.

CAs also set up clubs and social activities to give you more chances to practice your English, have fun and make new friends. Check out the activity calendar for this week’s schedule and meet our current CAs here!
