I took an unforgettable trip with ELI last weekend. I was in a group of around two-hundred students at Whistler for a three-day trip. Actually, this was not my first time to Whistler. I went there with my family last winter and made some great memories there. This time, however, I was there in the summer, so biking was the activity that I enjoyed. I thought it would be easier than skiing because I skied there last time, and it wasn’t easy for me.
We had club night on Friday, and it was so exciting. Unfortunately, there was heavy rain all day on Saturday; although it made us not want to do any activities at all, the benefit was that I used the spare time to do my homework. I never thought I would ever study that hard during an exciting trip. My four female roommates and I cooked pasta by ourselves for dinner. I love them since they were such nice and friendly girls.
The last day in Whistler, the weather was good, and I went on the Peak2Peak gondola. I didn’t know there would still be snow on the mountaintop, so it was so fun to build a snowman and have a snowball fight there. After this, we hiked to Lost Lake, which was a really beautiful place with lot of tadpoles. I hope they won’t all turn into frogs since I don’t want to go a place with too many frogs. That was the best weekend for me in Vancouver.
